Chritma Pix, Part the First

So we've got about 300 pictures from Chritma to sort through. Here are the first batch. On top of this, we have pix from Colin's first hockey game. Without further adieu, here we go.

Here he is with Cousin Adam, celebrating a Jihad Christmas:
Here he is with Cousin Amy.
I'm not sure, but I think Colin farted right before this shot:
This is a series of shots of Colin in his red turtleneck. I just remember hearing "Hurry, get a picture of this!!!!"
'Course, the bear might have something to do with it . . .
Here's brother and sissy together:
Colin and June together:
These are all of the stockings that Robyn has knitted over the years. Colin's was unveiled this year. He loved it.
Look at that little punnum.
What a Warbel.
More of the outfit in Red.
He can sit up pretty well on his own these days.
He's learned how to do a raspberry on his hand - I'm so proud.
Here he is with Aunt Robyn.
More of the sitting up.
Here are more of the stockings.
Yeah, Mommy got a Dead Schembechlers T-Shirt for Chritma.
She's a lucky lady, winnin' the husband lottery and all.

Here's Yonk, gettin' in on the "lookin for keys" act.
OK - so that's round one. More to come, perhaps tomorrow. Go Illini, go Badgers, go . . . well, Michigan, hope you don't lose by 27 . . .

Merry Chritma / Happy Birthday Emma

Well, I've got about 200 pictures to sort through when we get back from Morgantown. Christmas was a rousing success. Emma even got a few things that she's not snuck and found ahead of time. We're gettign ready to leave Morgantown as I type, so I should hopefully have some stuff up either tonight or tomorrow.

Merry Xmas and Happy Birtday Emma!

Saturday Camera Dump

Whaddaya know, two posts, WITH PICTURES, in the same week! I'm feelin' really good about this. Hope you are too.

Here's Jr. with his name bear.
He looks guilty of something in this shot, doesn't he?
A few shots in the jumperoo. Doesn't that looks just say, "what the hell are you lookin' at?"
Coaxed a smile out of him here.
So I had a sales call in Columbus yesterday, which necessitated a trip to Conrad's, naturally. Jr and Emma cleaned upon daddy's little shopping trip. Here he is in his 'lil Buckeye hat. It's a bit big on him for now - but come next summer at the pool, he'll be stone cold representin'.
He also got a bendy Woody Hayes while I was there. He loves this thing. Honestly, what is cooler than a BENDY WOODY HAYES doll? Much better than some lame 'ol GI Joe or Transformer. (Thus begins the evil spamming from the Transformer dorks of the world . . .)
He also got the "Baby Buckeye" DVD, and a "Brutus Tavels the State of Ohio" book. Emma got a few things as well . . .can't divulge just yet.

Chritma Cardz / I Am So Sorry T

OK, first things first. I know I'm way overdue with the pix. Apologies, apologies, apologies. If I say we've been busier than a one legged man in a butt-kickin' contest does that hold water?

I thought not.

Anyway - we're busy assembling the Chritma Kard list for 2007. We've passed the preliminaries for the "official Flanagan Family Chritma Picture", so here are the shots that didn't make it.

First up - something Mary tried to take. I'm sure it was high minded and artsy when she pictured it. All I see is "another Warbel looking for car keys". But that's just me.
Here we have "smile, one second after flash goes off"
"Smile, two seconds after flash"
"Off the belly, onto the back, fixin' to spit a mouth full of food . . ."
"I need a nap '07"
"Hunky Firemen '22"
"I can grab my feet."
"Mr. Hunky Fireman '22"
So, those were the pix that didn't make the cut for "The Official Ferrigan Family Chritma Card '07". SO - I hope y'all are eagerly awaiting the pix that made the cut. 'cuz clearly, they have to be cute as all hell, right?
The correct answer was 'right'. The picture that made the cut for the card was so freakin' cute . . . I don't think it will make it to your mailbox. It will likely burst into flames from the cute that the envelope contains.
So if your mailbox burns down in the next couple of weeks . . . blame us, and bill our parents for the damage. They're ultimately responsible for this kid am I right?
Pt. II of the Post:
T, I'm so sorry for the delay on these pix. For the uninitiated, St. Nicholas Day was last Thursday. T OVERNIGHTED a present for our boy, because that was his Name's Day. The following pix are Colin with his FerriganCorp St. Nicholas Day Bear. Thank you so much, T - he absolutely loves it!
Sometimes it's hard to accurately capture a 6 month old's reaction to something so wikid kewl . .
This kind of sums it up:
We tried to have him straddle the bear at the shoulders, but he wouldn't completely cooperate.
I know it's out of focus - but here they are face to face . . .
Again, out of focus, but Colin is clearly enjoying his Name Day Bear . . .
Here he is loving on the bear. . .
And here he is loving his Name Day Bear, whilst wearing proper attire:
Best of the lot:
OK, so we're way overdue with a post - my apologies. Me and mommy are in new jobs, and days are long. More to come, honest.
Thank you for stopping by!

And another thing . . .

You know, Ben - I agree with you wholeheartedly - that Santa that's with Colin in the previous post may very well be bent on world domination. At the very least he looks like an evil SOB. Could mall Santas be plotting to take down representative democracies the world over????
Who knows - but that guy *WAS* goofy looking. He *claimed* to be laughing at the three of us (Mary, Mollie and Me) acting like goofs to try and get Jr. to smile, but who really knows?

Hey - if anyone's gonna be in the Big Easy for the big game in early January, would you drop me a line at jferrigan@resolvit.com ? I'm trying to get a happy hour set up somewhere in Nawlins, and the reason I'm asking is to determine who wants many free drinks before the game . . .

'sall. Pictures forthcoming, honest . . . .

The Apocalypse / First visit with Santa

Well, looks like we got what we wished for yesterday. In spades. Boomer Sooner did what we needed, and pummeled Mizzou. What we DIDN'T expect was for our beloved brethren at WVU to lose to Pitt. Mountaineer Nation must be in mourning.

So, it's OSU vs. LSU for all the marbles. Emma - if you want to go ahead and take that night off, I certainly understand. Might be the only person in the country who will be happy with the outcome regardless.

In Colin news, we took him to see Santa for the first time yesterday. Mary, Mollie and I made complete fools of ourselves in an effort to get a big smile out of him. He just looked confused To his credit, though, he did not cry.
