The only exciting thing to report is the arrival of the final piece of furniture for Colin's room. Apparently, it takes longer to ship something from Canuckistan than it does something from Afghanistan. Whoddathunkit?
Here are a couple of shots of the hutch. It probably goes without saying, but I laid out all the stuff on the shelves there, so it's probably nowhere near correctly laid out. Consider these shot's an 'artist's rendering' of the final look and feel. The boss will have to come home and utter those three words all men just love to hear when they proudly say "I'm done" : ".....um......what's this?"
I can tell ya right now, I'm gonna hear about that lampcord being visible in this picture. I can just hear it now . . .

These (above and below) show the "Official Ohio State Grey" we used for the walls.
Here are the pencil lines for the stripes. Took me over three hours just to get these things up:
Then I had to lay out the tape for each of the lines:
Next, Kasi helped me paint the black stripes with tiny little rollers:
Remove the tape, and we have the first set of stripes:
Tonight, it's off to tape the Red stripe down the middle. More to come, fer sure . . .
It's going to go perfectly with the rest of the OSU gear we've got, and are planning to get. Here are a couple with the boss in her chair. These qualify as belly shots, from what she's telling me. The belly shots have to be "respectable". Clearly she just doesnt' get it . . .

Many thanks to June, Judy, George, Yonk and Kasi for this - we really love it!
