Friday Halloweenblogging

Day late and a dollar short. No sleepblogging this week - posted all my recent shots the other day. But, I do have the Halloween shots. Before we get to the festivities, here are a few more of Jr and Grandpa from his visit. He really cut the tar out of himself.
Now, on to the Halloween. For his first Halloween, Grandma Sammie got him this punkin outfit. At first, he was not very pleased. Once people came and started fawning over him, he changed his tune.
"I'm NOT happy!"
The setup. We had 60 fullsize candy bars, and several pounds of the little ones. Gave 'em all away.
This one is my favorite.
My costume. 'course, the Canes went and lost later that night 4-2. $*$&%*##&$$*&
Here he is with Cayden and Dan. They cleaned up, and Denny was able to get a fresh beer.
Here's another great one - Kelson and Colin. They're best buds. Isn't that costume the cutest thing you've ever seen?
More trick or treaters Liam and Grace stop by.
Now he's starting to get excited.
And there you have it - Colin's first trick or treat. He seemed to enjoy it. Can't wait 'til next year when he can go door to door and collect us some candy.
Seein's how it's Friday, might as well indulge in Mary's favorite - Random 11.
  1. "Facet Squared" - Fugazi
  2. "On the Day" - Rollins Band
  3. "Delta Lady" - Joe Cocker
  4. "Struggle for Jive" - Urban Dance Squad

  9. "2+2=5 (The Lukewarm.)" - Radiohead

Friday Sleepblogging / Random 11

Short post today, as we're getting ready to take the entire brood (dogs included) over to Steubenville to visit Yonk and June for the weekend.

It's Friday, and you know what that means:

TEH SLEEPBLOGGING!!!1!!1!!!1
Can't you just feel the sleep ACTION? He's really gotten into doing the 'ol Bronx cheer lately. Does it ALL THE TIME. It's hilarious to hear him doing it when he doesn't know we're around. He finds it terrifically entertaining as well.

Mary requested a good Random 11 this week, so let's see if the magic iPod machine will abide:
  1. "Fear His Name" - Overkill
  2. "Tracks" - Gary Numan
  3. "Crazy Love" - Van Morrison
  4. "Life is Pain" - Leftover Crack
  5. "June 16th" - Minutemen
  6. "Fascist"- Minutemen
  7. "Black Arrows" - Manowar
  8. "The Messenger" - Bathory
  9. "Black Diamond" - The Replacements
  10. "The One to Sing the Blues" - Motorhead
  11. "Dead Schembechlers" - Dead Schembechlers

Apparently not. I'm such a geek. Only one T song, but it's a doozy, that's for sure. As they say, "Hey, Ho, F*** Bo!" Can't believe Meeechigan has skulked back into the top 25. Sad. At least the #1 team in the land is back to being the good guys again. They've got Michigan State tomorrow. Here's hoping we don't see another upset at the top this week.

OK, 'til next time . . . .

Sleepbogging, Random 11, Last Day, Food

Note to self: NO MORE DRUNKEN BLOGGING. Sheesh, sorry for that last night. Simply awful. But, it was with good reason (the drinking, not the blogging), as today was my last day as a USBank 'funployee'. My god. Six years in that freakin' place. While there were many very nice people there, the management is awful and the company itself is not very kind. Our mottos were: "Welcome to USBank, now shut up." and "There's no you in USBank." So, I was celebrating my release, hence the boozing on a school night. Oh well, onward and upward.

It's Friday, and I've got sleepytime pix, so you know what that means:

TEH SLEEPBLOGGING!!!!!11!1!1!!
As I mentioned, Jr is cuttting teeth now, so actually capturing him sleeping peacefully is a dodgy proposition these days.
Yesterday Colin went to the doctor for more boosters. He weighs 18lbs now. Was hoping for more, but it is what it is. He's in fabulous health according to Dr. Staley. It also is time to begin feeding him food with some taste in it. These are the first shots of him eating sweet potatoes. He was a bit confused by it initially.
'course, he wore more than he ate, naturally.
He's still not quite big enough to sit in the high chair with out being propped up, so we moved him to the Bumbo on the table.
Now all clean.
So there you have it, he's growing, eating and in good health. Couldn't ask for more.
Now Mary's favorite feature, Friday Random 11.
  1. "A Message To You Rudy" - The Specials
  2. "Aniphon 3 Part 2: Little Vespers" - Glinka Choir of Leningrad
  3. "Be All End All" - Anthrax
  4. "Whiskey Rock-A Roller" - Skynyrd
  5. "Real Wild Child" - Iggy Pop
  6. "In a Station" - The Band
  7. "Old Hat" - Harvey Danger
  8. "Rock and Roll Hell" - Kiss
  9. "Jan's Song" - INXS
  10. "The Last Letter Home" - Dropkick Murphys
  11. "Gods of Wrath" - Metal Church

Wow, T, you didn't make it in this week. Surprising.

Bucks host Kent State tomorrow. Should be a close one. Canes are at the Habs tomorrow night. Looks like I'll not be leaving the couch all day. Hooray for Saturday!

Late Friday Sleepblogging / Random11 & foodies

Holy crow, this USF / WVU tilt is turning into something incredibly entertaining. WVU picking up two(!) 4th and +10's? Crazy.

Anywho - I know it's late, and there's been nothing this week. It's not entirely my fault - I picked up "The Stand" last weekend, and have been engrossed in it every night this week. So, light posting is technically Stephen King's fault. DAMN YOU, STEVEN KING!!!!!

It's still technically Friday, so here you have

TEH FRIDAY SLEEPBLOGGING!!!!!!!
As I mentioned a few posts back, Jr's begun eating solid food occasionally. I think he mostly likes spitting it out and watching us make goofy faces at him in an effort to try and get him open his mouth to eat. Either way, it's great fun.
I shudder to think about the grocery bills when this boy starts playing the foosball.
Grandpa Ferrigan and Grandma Sammie are here in town, and tomorrow's the Paella party, so should have something up late Sunday on that. OSU @ Minnesota tomorrow night, thinking that should be an easy one. Finally, NHL season opens up tomorrow - Kings / Ducks live from London. Same thing Sunday. Too much goin' on!
Lastly, Mary's favorite: Friday Random 11:
  1. "The Outsider" - A Perfect Circle
  2. "Down In The Park" - Gary Numan
  3. "Here Comes The Sun" - Richie Havens
  4. "Silly Girl" - Descendents
  5. "Floating Boy [Demo Version]" - Fugazi
  6. "The Thin Line Between Love and Hate" - Iron Maiden
  7. "Bad Mood" - Helmet
  8. "No Mercy" - The Tubes
  9. "I Want You" - Bob Dylan
  10. "Trompe le Monde" - Pixies
  11. "Pants" - Dave Brockie Experience

Very interesting. Just all over the place this week.

Oh well . . . seeyouse!
