LABOR

Went to the doctor today. She was pretty quick to say, "you're having this baby today." Apparently, the amniotic fluid was getting low, and the boy is essentially fully cooked. We headed over to the hospital at 3PM, so that they can induce labor. The doctor said that the baby could come at any time between now and Friday.

Digs are great. Plenty of space, hardwood floors, a nice jacuzzi tub in the head. The only bad thing is that our first nurse was a Michigan grad. We asked to have her replaced tootsweet.

They did have a bit of trouble finding Mary's veins for the IV, but other than that things have been moving along quite swimmingly.

Yonk, June and Kasi joined us at the hospital, and Mollie and Paul were kind enough to drop by with dinner. Everyone has left now, and Mary's relaxing whilst I watch the Stanley Cup finals. Looks like the Ducks are gonna hoist the Cup tonight.

More posts as we get closer. Here's a few shots of mommy.

Hospital gowns are teh bomb.
