Overdueforapostblogging

Well, it's been a while since the last post - apologies - we've been doing a whole lot of nothing notable - beyond getting ready for Jr's 2nd birthday. So not a lot of recent snaps, sadly.

The Canes lost the Eastern Conference Final in four straight, so the playoff beard has been shaved off . . .beyond that - not a lot of excitement. Buckeyes don't kick off for several months, so we're just left with the Reds. Granted, the Redlegs have been doing well as of late - but we've been Redlegs fans long enough to know it won't last .... sadly.

Anyway, on with the latest record of this blog's namesake's historical record of growth. Here are some shots of Jr. enjoying playing in the sink tonight:
I said "peekaboo" before the shot above.
He got so soakin' wet between the shot above and the shot below that the shirt just had to go.
The kid is all about washing his hands - he really enjoys a dish sink full of suds.
Notice above that the shirt is soaked through.

Below, Mary Ann is sporting her favorite Wright State University duds AND telling Kelson to spray the hose into the 'table 'o play'.
Mary trying to reign in the whole hose / sandbox thingy:
Colin and Kelson at the play table / sandbox thingy:
Clearly the kid has kin in WVa - he doesn't like wearing shoes or shirts:
These were shots one evening when I was trying to capture some action shots while the kid was wearing his Slayer kicks:
Below - more hillbilly shirtlessness - whilst showing off his knowledge of the Disney movie, "Cars".
Shirtlessness continued:
Below - reveling in the fact that he has kin in WestbygodVirginia:
More shots sportin' the Slaytanic clothes:
Bothered and AWESOME: Just plain bothered:
Seriously, he's wearing a Slayer T-shirt and acting like it means nothing. Whatakid, no?
OK, so those are the latest. We've honestly been doing a whole lot of nothing beyond trying to get the house ready for next weekend's 2nd birthday confab. It's totally going to be huge.
Think Woodstock but with more dirty hippies.
Like that, but better.
Srsly.
